“The Music Show about Music”
The Gossip is a weekly radio show presented by journalist Jonathan deBurca Butler on 93.9 http://www.dublinsouthfm.ie
It is broadcast every Thursday evening between 5pm and 6.30pm. It is a chat show/magazine about music and aims to shed light on music news and gossip with the help of regular contributors from Ireland and abroad.
At 6pm the programme has its ‘Tea Time Three’ slot where a special guest is asked to select three tracks that are important to them and to tell the story of those tracks in relation to their lives.
The programme also features a weekly voxpop in which Joe Public is asked to offer his/her views on questions around the music industry. We ask: Who is the greatest guitarist of all time? to Why is David Hasselhoff so big in Germany?
